    A device for electrically stunning animals, mainly pigs, is known, which contains two endless conveyors for feeding animals, arranged to form a V-shaped gap, and two groups of electrodes mounted in this gap are consistent with the movement of animals, each of which contains at least one electrode l.
    In this device, in order to achieve high performance, the conveyors must move at such a rate that in a short period of current flow the animal moves a considerable distance, for example, a distance of 30 cm. The corresponding movement of the electrodes relative to the head of the animal causes a change in contact resistance between the electrode surface. and with the head of the animal, as a result of this, stunniness is different. It is possible that the electrodes first touch the collar and then the body (during this period when current flows), which is undesirable.
    The purpose of the invention is to provide fast and reliable contact of the electrodes with the head of the animal.
    This goal is achieved by the fact that in the device for electric stunning of animals, containing two endless conveyors for feeding animals, arranged to form a V-shaped gap and mounted with this gap, two groups of electrodes, each containing at least one the electrode, the electrodes of both groups are mounted on a frame equipped with a drive mechanism for moving the frame with electrodes along the conveyors at a speed equal to the speed of the conveyor of these conveyors; It is activated when the animal closes the electrical circuit between the electrodes, and the drive mechanism has a switch for reversing.
    In this case, the drive mechanism is designed as a hydraulic cylinder.
    The frame is provided at the ends with rollers having V-shaped recesses and installed with a possibility of contact with U-shaped rails located above and below relative to the rollers.
    The working surfaces of the rails and / or rollers are covered with sound-absorbing material.

    The device contains two endless conveyors 1 and 2, which are arranged in such a way that they form a V-shaped passage between them. These conveyors are located in frame 3. The device also contains frame 4 attached to frame 3. Frame 4 contains lower and upper rails 5-8, as well as rollers 9 and 10 having V-shaped grooves that are installed with the possibility of contact with the rails. In this case, the rollers and rails are covered with a teflon layer.
    Electrodes 1 and 12 are fixed on frame 4, which have the ability to rotate around horizontal shafts 13 and 14. Each of electrodes 11 and 12 is connected to spring means 15 and 16, respectively.
    On the slide 17 of the frame 4, a hydraulic cylinder 18 is mounted, which includes a pump driven by the motor 19. The piston rod 20 of the cylinder 18 is bolted to the lever 21 having a fixed pivot point 22 and pivotally connected to the frame 4 at the lower point 23.
